(THE NAME GIVEN OUR PAPER BECAUSE OF JUDE, VERSE 3, WHICH SAYS : "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly CONTEND for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints".) is published eight times yearly by Faith Assembly Church of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and sent free of charge to all who request it. Our first publication was printed March 1969, and it has been self supporting ever since the first issues began to be received by those on our original mailing list. The contents are sermon topics our pastor Raymond M. Jackson, has preached in his home assembly, and our mailing list now includes saints living in many foreign countries as well as all of the United States.

Our present editor, Louis B. Turner, is now in his twenty second year as editor. Sister Ramona (Jackson) Barber (Bro. Jackson's oldest daughter) takes the audio taped messages and types them onto computer disks for the editor to work from, and for the last few years, all work on the Contender except the actual printing of the 10,000 copies, is done before it ever goes to the printer. Our mailing of the papers, and the correspondence with saints that write and call, requires the cooperation of many of the saints at Faith Assembly. Everyone works together to make the paper available to all who desire to receive it, and to answer any questions that come in from those who need an answer to something. We have printed in the Contender, all the major topics that Bro. Jackson has ever preached and taught on; therefore most of your questions have been answered in one or more of the printed messages.
